God’s Strength in Our Weakness

Date: September 10, 2024

Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 12:9

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

We often desire strength, control, and capability — yet God reveals Himself most clearly in our weakness. When our strength fades, His strength shines.

Paul pleaded for the removal of his “thorn,” but God didn’t remove it. Instead, He revealed a deeper truth: grace is not given to avoid weakness but to endure through it.

Our limitations become the canvas on which God paints His power. We don’t boast in weakness out of pride, but because it forces us to rely wholly on Christ.

Main Takeaways

  • God’s grace is always enough.
  • Weakness is an opportunity for God’s power to be displayed.
